The witness of love

The street, as everything in life, is a reflection of what you want to see. In my first series of street photography, I used to catch portraits of people without them knowing it, because I wanted to catch a candide moment of their daydream... Then I realised I was missing big values I've got through photography : Sharing & connecting with people. As street photographers, we all know streets are the most interesting meeting place. So I've started to break that invisible wall that separated me from strangers ; with my camera, and everything I've learned so far. At a time I was all alone on the other side of Earth, when the world's borders were shut. It's away from my love ones that I really questioned what was connecting the human beings around me. So I've just asked people to share their love with me, & started to witness it. The goal was to focus on that beautiful aspect of humanity we all have. Take some time to be present with each other, feel and share our love. The project started in Sydney in 2021, in between lockdowns. Then continued on a roadtrip up to Cairns in 2022.
