Gente di Pantano

L’area in cui è stato realizzato questo portfolio si trova sulla piana di Fondi Una fascia di territorio che non so se definire periferia o paesaggio rurale. Quest’area, denominata, appunto: “Pantano”, comprende una parte di quei territori paludosi e malarici, resi abitabili e sfruttabili dalla bonifica pontina, sia durante il ventennio fascista sia, in parte, in epoche antecedenti e successivamente potenziata in epoche successive. Il territorio comprende una serie di canali, idrovore e chiuse che regolamentano i flussi d'acqua sulla piana. Lungo questi canali sono state realizzate una serie di stradine e viottoli, probabilmente per la manutenzione degli stessi, che, nel tempo, sono diventati, pur essendo, in parte, non asfaltati, d'uso frequente per coloro che, intorno al lago e nelle aree circostanti, vivono o hanno avviato le loro attività agropastorali, di pesca e commerciali. The area in which this portfolio was built on the plain of Fondi (LT) is a band of territory that I do not know whether to define the periphery or rural landscape. Along these channels, a series of streets and paths have been created, probably for the maintenance of the same, which, over time, have become, despite being, in part, not asphalted, frequently used for those who, around the lake and in the lake Contemporary areas, they live or have started their agro -pastoral, fishing and commercial activities.
