My “Human Solitude” series offers a reflection of the continued dialogue between the inner world and the crowded, bustling outer life. As an inherently introverted individual, I am naturally drawn to seek solace amidst the dynamic energy of swarming metropolises, looking for a unique harmony between my need for quiet moments and the vibrant ambiance that surrounds me.
Through a lens that captures the essence of human emotions, particularly feelings of loneliness and solitude, I explore the interplay between individuals and a world that is overflowing and abounding, sometimes facilitated by technology. The prevalence of technology in public spaces becomes a catalyst for exploring the evolving landscape of communication and human interaction. My photographs aim to encapsulate the duality of our connection with technology, which sometimes helps with the search for solace and inspiration, while sometimes forces it, creating confusion - all within the context of a restless world.
I invite viewers to contemplate the intricate balance between our use of, and reliance on technology, on one side, and our innate human essence, on the other. Through the honest portrayal of emotions like sensitivity and authenticity, I want to offer a critical eye on how human solitude is not intrinsically a negative, malign feeling in this rapidly-changing world.
