It is not easy having to deal with the disappearance of a loved one, yet it is an event that belongs to life, and sooner or later to the experience of every man.
My research and the birth of this portfolio start from here, from the personal experience linked to the sudden loss of my father. It is a story in images and suggestions of the path that I, like billions of other people, have faced in the mourning process.
Nothing is concrete in the images, nothing is real or tangible; the story I created is based on evocation. The anxieties, fears and ghosts that fill the heart are inexpressible, mixed with vivid memories and a daily life that we have to live almost forcibly and that annoys us.
And the nuances that each of us experiences in our own soul are personal: for this reason the photographs have been conceived to leave ample room for the interpretation of those who observe them. Thus the images follow one another to fix sensations, emotions and fears with the desire to tell this journey beyond the personal and beyond any cultural and religious border.
