Kurinjium Neithalum

The title is translated as 'Hill and Sea' ( in Tamil) . I have depicted the philosophy of Taoism with these set of images by choosing two contradictory places where typically a river begins and ends. Taoism is an ancient mystical philosophy which is basically about natural order of things, compassion, balance, harmony, letting things flow on its course, adaptability to change, etc., Direct quotes from Tao te ching (founding book of Taoism) are used with the images to illuminate the series. All the images are taken in the western ghats hills and eastern coastal regions of Tamilnadu, India .
