A lifetime of solitude

This series of photos was taken as part of a humanitarian mission in the west of the Central African Republic. A region devastated by repeated conflicts, poverty and childhood diseases. The aim of my proposal is to show these strong people at different stages of their lives, their problems from the youngest to the oldest. The use of black and white is simply the tool that allows me to express this emotion. Colour can sometimes trick the emotions. In these shots I want to show the difficulties and loneliness that Central Africans sometimes face.
