Intrinsically Disordered Petals

I have always been attracted to watercolour and used this medium extensively in my artistic creations. Inspired by this joyous experience, I started to experiment with transferring watercolour techniques into my photographic work. The idea behind this project comes from molecular biology, where an intrinsically disordered protein is a protein that has no fixed or ordered three-dimensional structure.
