How can a photograph show what we see and what we are seen at the same time? When we suspend our vision in a particular space and time, we perceive that the object surrounds us in a certain way, and the subject embraces the object simultaneously. In the mutual contact between the subject and the object, we are transported to a possibility of the world, hence the membrane of perception unfolds.
This series of artworks try to restore the perception on natural things in daily life through the form of thermoplastic acrylic. The work retraces the contemplative movement of vision on the object, as if the body and the photographed object are tightly bonded like skin, forming a special present presence.
