UNSEEN - Emerging from the Currents of Assimilation

This body of work explores assimilation through the diaspora of Thai immigrants in Omaha Nebraska in the 1970's. I have included the artist statement in the description of the images sequentially. The story - the journey - the process of assimilation is one that many can relate to - feeling UNSEEN. I hope to reclaim my identity and help others be SEEN with this project. I SEE you.
