Merry-go-round

In Japan, there are people who bring unwanted animals to government agencies. I am a photographer who has made it my life's work to protect these animals. Many of them are old and sick with multiple health issues. They cannot be given to new owners and spend the rest of their life with us. They become part of our family, only for a short while, at the elderly dog shelter. We try to understand each other, to bridge the gap between us. I am looking at the limited time I have with them.
