Each Earth Aura is an abstract capture of the New Mexico rock landscape printed with archival ink on paper made of desert-dwelling sisal agave. The work lives as a meditation on organic simplicity with the colors of the rock strata vibrating with harmony and resonating with light. Each Earth Aura communicates a vibration that is alive in the landscape, the beautiful arrangement of parts in accordance with nature.
Imprinted like fingerprints, each Earth Aura softly demands contemplation and adheres to the magical common language of the universe: harmony & order. Her combination of long exposure and movement gives a painterly quality that begs the viewer to ask: brush or camera?
The collection just had its first solo museum show at the Museum of the Southwest.
