According to recent studies done by NASA, Antarctica is losing ice mass (melting) at an average rate of about 150 billion tons per year. This is an ongoing body of work that spans three seasons of photographing Antarctica and the South Georgia islands with the aim of documenting a photographic record of the beauty that these extreme parts of the world hold, and creating imagery that bring awareness to the pressing issue of rapidly changing landscapes and ecosystems.
