The lineage

This series was made during a 5 year stay in a small city at the bottom of the Pyrenees. It started with walks within a 1km radius from my home when the pandemic broke out. It then became many things : an incomplete archive of a 5.000 inhabitants city’s lanscapes ; a diary ; a shared story of people coming from somewhere else ; an atlas about the traces of a past industrial flagship. It’s now an attempt at making sense of it all. It’s about a certain sense of belonging. Or the lack of it.
