I have been interested in the topic of aloneness in New York City since visiting the Edward Hopper exhibit at the Whitney Museum last winter. With this series, I am reflecting on how many of my pictures gravitate towards subjects who find their own space in a city that is always crowded. It is also a reflection of how my hobby as a street photographer allows me to approach people but then after having a brief interaction with them, I move on, and end up being all by myself, not just wandering the city that I call home but also, processing my film, and printing the photographs in the dark room. All my photographs were made using a 35 mm camera with different film stocks.
