A collection of images of Ospreys fishing in Scotland taken across several visits to Aviemore.
The birds are largely monochrome except the eyes. The grasses on the banks behind the pond where the birds feed can be quite distracting so by desaturating the background you can create pleasing, timeless black and white images.
The key thing with bird in flight photography, especially ospreys, is to get a good eye on the bird and to try and capture some of the action.
I feel sorry for the trout.
The images are post processed in Photoshop, Topaz Denoise and Silver Efex Pro.
