In the beginning, there was darkness then light broke through from within the darkness to reveal things to us.
The game is between the menacing darkness that seeks to engulf the light and the light that prevails over the darkness and uses it to show itself. Sometimes, it is impossible to determine whether light pushes away darkness or vice versa. The decision lies with the observer and depends on their point of view. It's a perspective on the world; it's a matter of stance.
I sought the space between darkness and light, and through various photography techniques, I uncovered new meanings in the objects being photographed, and sometimes I even recreated something anew.
Through this work, I raise questions about the perception of 'reality' and the relevance of searching for the source of the images we see.
