At Arms Length

‘’At Arm’s - Length’’ is a project about male vulnerability. I explore the new possibilities that wearing your heart on your sleeve brings. By visualizing this vulnerability, I aim to show the beauty that resides in this dynamic. With the intention of starting a dialogue and showing how we as men can change not only ourselves for the better, but also the world around us as we dare speak our truth with courage, liability and compassion. All while trying to debunk and analyze why we as men hold on so dear to often old-fashioned and rusted archetypes. Equipped with a large format camera, I document these phenomena in both studio and non-studio environments. Where i carefully and patiently construct my images with an eye for fragility.
