Submerged

This is the first series I've done that remains digital only, meaning I haven't printed them nor have I extended them with paint, which I have done in many other series. For me, it feels like I'm actually painting with photographs themselves as I layer my own photographs and submerge one visual experience into another. As I blend these images and the memories associated with taking these photographs together and shift the colors at will a whole new emotional landscape/portrait emerges to my surprise.
