I Love Color

Austin Vidmar, I Love Color. 2023. There are three primary colors, red, yellow, and blue. There are three secondary colors which are orange, green, and violet. “I Love Color” focuses on these colors individually. I began this project with the overall goal of creating a rainbow on my Instagram grid. Instead of sticking with my normal street photography images to achieve this end goal, I chose to include portrait photography as well. The models who participated chose a color and created an outfit for the shoot. The purpose of “I Love Color” was to help me practice and improve my skills. I blended the way I edit my street photography with these portraits. This project helped me pay close attention to the color I was focusing on, while finding other colors to contrast and make that color pop. I improved my styling, composition, and communication skills by working with new models.
