Under and Over the Glacier

These images are part of a winter landscape photography journey in Iceland in November, 2023. The submitted pictures were taken with a phone camera (iPhone 14) due to the cramped space in the ice cave, and a drone at 600 meters above takeoff. There was very little color under the glacier, which led to the almost monochromatic, strangely structured, translucent and reflective shapes in this series. The drone image gives a view of the outflow of glacier water.
