Si dormir es como morir, ¿al morir sueñas? / If sleeping is like die, do you dream when you die?

Al hacer estas imágenes miro de manera indirecta, a través de un espejo flexible que rehuye a la mirada convencional.  La distancia formal con las imágenes publicitarias e informativas de consumo cotidiano permiten que la imagen escape a su utilidad, establece un intercambio lúdico y no violento. Me movilizan dudas acerca de experiencias vividas y la flexibilidad de su significado a través del tiempo. ¿Qué emociones prevalecen? ¿Podremos estar juntos de nuevo? ----- When I make these images I look indirectly, through a flexible mirror that avoids the conventional gaze. The formal distance from advertising and informative images of everyday consumption allows the image to escape its usefulness, establishing a playful and non-violent exchange. I am moved by doubts about lived experiences and the flexibility of their meaning over time. What emotions prevail? Can we be together again?
