Night Vision

This is a project that addresses the Amazon forest from a perspective of light and shadow, a place that does not reveal itself at first glance. The photos were made during night boat cruises through the middle of the flooded forest. Even during the day, the deep jungle is dark and monochromatic, requiring a developed sense of observation for one to be able to see hidden treasures and interesting life within the vegetation. An aesthetic approach using black and white images tries to highlight the detail and the subtle that lies within the vastness of a tropical rain forest.
