This project began as an act of daily image making. It then quickly transformed into a work about the uninhibited curiosity for the snow - about what it reveals and hides. In the futile attempts to hold onto this serendipitous encounter, I started losing track of time, at the cost of being numb and in pain. This project is a record of my encounter and intense fascination for the Syracuse winter. I fold in the lessons the ever transmuting weather taught me as I morph the images and give them their new forms.
