"Mom, what does my premonition mean?"
"I think it was... ribs."
To the daughter who expected something special, the mother responded with "ribs." Since then, the daughter has been thinking about ribs. In the dialect of Gyeongsang Province, ribs refer to pine needles that have fallen from pine trees and turned brown.
From this ancient question of 'ribs,' the narrative unfolds, exploring the confusion of the narrator regarding the divergent directions of nature and humanity, the order and disorder. Additionally, it reflects on the narrator, a scattered piece of nature endlessly pursuing order but ultimately becoming more disorderly. The question is posed about whether the order sought by both the individual and society can truly dispel human anxiety, fear, and loneliness.
The artwork, in response to the disorder in nature, introduces a variable and new disorder of art, diverging from the prevalence of human order, symbols, and texts floating within the disorder of nature.
