GENESIS

I am not a Christian. GENESIS in the Bible was an interesting myth to me. As a photographer with more than 40 years of photography experience as a profession and hobby, I wanted to express the imaginary image that resonated with me personally while reading the GENESIS with environmental and ecological photos that I had been shooting. Since I am not a Christian, I thought I could do this. These are personal creative works that neither disparage nor distort the Bible. GENESIS uses a complex fractal structure so that small structures show recursiveness in the same form as the overall structure. Geometric fractal structures have the characteristics of ‘self-similarity’ and ‘recursiveness’. In nature, rias beaches, the distribution of animal blood vessels, and tree branches all have fractal shapes. This is the artist's creative intention to depict the harmony of life and nature based on the fact that everything in the universe has a fractal structure. Among the photos of nature that I have taken over the past 40 years, I selected photos that feel like the contents of the Bible's GENESIS.
