I feel free when I create in this art photography style. Freedom to blur, oversaturate, pixelate, and change hues. This series is an example of what I call “photo painting”. I like blurring and altering the colors of photos until the original subject is unrecognizable, creating images resembling abstract paintings. This effect was applied to these pictures of bubbles and light shining on the ceiling from my daughter’s bubble gun. The series is called diffusion because the photos bring to mind the mixture of gases and the spreading or scattering of light.
