Forest Road 1

Forest Road 1 is part of a series of photographs from the "fragments VI" project, where I photographed the mountain path (https://www.rjgramos.com/vi.html). These wanderings through the mountains constitute a collection, fragments that are necessarily incomplete and surrounded by uncertainty, but also a registered opportunity. One of the primary keys to interpreting these photographs is the concealment behind the so-called "landscape photography". This project of walking through forest paths and photographing the ground is also about the silence necessary for us to question ourselves, asking which path this is and where it leads us. It is nothing new... other photographers have already done it (Paul Strand, Robert Adams, Luigi Ghirri, Hamish Fulton, etc.). Therefore, it also recognises the need to "return to the archive" of history, to look again... and not always start over, but rather continue what has already begun before us.
