Scanno was a surreal experience.
What initially transmitted to me, is a cold and dying place, destined to disappear.
Until I met Grazia, who accompanied me through the village introducing me to those like her who decided to live there and stay.
At that moment a spark lit up.
As we entered the labyrinth of streets, she pointed out to me the alleys, the arches and the gates behind which lie ancient stories, customs and customs.
When I heard her talking, Scanno came back to life.
I wanted to give my interpretation to that "return" to existence, moved above all by the sacred pride that revolves around the Glories of San Martino for those who still animate that place.
The feeling that I felt overcomes the dichotomy of life and death, one is in the other but continues, somehow, to go on.
And so the people in front of me were real, but at the same time something else, like in a dream, where it’s not very clear what really happened and what didn’t.
Yet the memory remains, as a parenthesis, suspended but indelible.
