Equus

I have photographed horses for the past 40 years, during which time I have come to know their minds and their souls. They are highly sentient beings, extremely sensitive and intuitive. They are willing but proud. They are partners to us. They are (were) as vital and integral to our lives as dogs, whose relationship to us is very similar to horses. They are independent, yet cooperative. And they are capable of the greatest love.
