Tim Floyd is a freelance photo essayist and documentary photographer. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, National Geographic (online), Sun Valley Magazine and the Idaho Statesman, among other publications.
His work has been exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Chicago Cultural Center, the Morial Convention Center, the Russell Senate Office Rotunda, Ranier Square in Seattle, the Utah Museum of Natural History, and the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, among other venues.
He achieved Best of Show in the Northwest Exhibition of Environmental Photography and has won other awards, including Gold and Silver medals in the Prix de la Photographie de Paris, 2020 and First Place in the 2019 Idaho Press Club awards.
