Second Chance

Second Chance is a series of stories, in which depicts an evident message of courage and passion. Each picture narrates how each of these Latin women sacrificed themselves, their lives, as well as their future to live the wonderful American dream, and live it with those they love the most. Each story is about how strong a woman can be. One that would sacrifice their future for their child and would give up the entire world to see their loved ones accomplish their dreams. That is what I wanted to depict in these photographs, these loving, passionate, and courageous women who gave up everything that they had in their lives to live in the American dream and give the American dream to their family, even if this means that they will have to work extra hours, scrape on money, learn the language, and adapt to the culture. In conclusion, As I took these photos, I wanted to represent the women that are most often overlooked yet deserve the most praise.
