Recently, my mother was diagnosed with cancer in multiple parts of her body, which changed not only her life but of the whole family's .. For me, I had to pack my things and leave the city where I had lived and worked for more than 20 years to come and live with my parents. This shift, together with picking up a camera again after almost seven years, has given me a much more mature outlook on life, people, relationships, and the objects in my immediate surroundings. Honouring the strength of my parents, I gained a deeper understanding of interpersonal interactions and understanding of life itself, than I had previously.
