As a parent,
the fear of loss is an ever-present
weight that sits heavy on my heart.
It's a fear lurking in my mind's shadows,
ready to pounce at any moment.
The mere thought of losing my children
is enough to bring tears to my eyes and
make my heart ache with a pain I can't describe.
Every time they leave my sight, I'm left with worry and
unease until they're back in my arms again.
It's a fear that never truly disappears,
even as they grow older and more independent.
As a parent,
I know I can't protect my children from everything,
but the thought of losing them is a burden
I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.
But despite this fear.
I know I must be vital for my children.
I must teach them to be brave and
to face their fears head-on,
like I am with this series of images.
I cherish every moment with them and
never take a single day for granted.
I trust that, no matter what happens,
my love for them will endure and that
they will always hold a special place in my heart.
