Manhattan Nocturne

During the Covid Lockdown social gatherings came to a halt. After a few weeks of not having seen any of my friends, I came up with the idea of visiting them on their rooftops, specially if they lived in high rises. Two birds with one stone: Having a brief moment of friendship and taking advantage of the point of view to photograph my city in a new way. In the forty years I have lived in New York City, I always photographed its amazing architecture from street level, compromising correct perspective and not giving it the photographic treatment it deserves. With this project I would make my dates for late afternoon, and proceed on photographing the cityscape at dusk and often late into the evening.
