Many African tribes believe that at twilight time, when the day dances its farewell to the night, the spirits of their forefathers come to float over their ancestral lands. It is a time of the floating light, a special time, when the sounds of the day fade into the sounds of the night and all the African songs can be heard if one listens carefully. Through my many travels in Africa I have come to love this time of the approaching night, when the African ancestral spirits dance over the tribal lands. This project tries to touch just a little of this. It is dedicated to all those who have felt this feeling, sitting around a campfire at twilight time, beneath the wide African sky.
