My grandmother died on September 30, 2011, aged 85. She lived the last eight years affected by Alzheimer's disease.
To face her apparent pain and agonizing situation to be photographed, was really hard to me.
At some point I started to imagine that her conscience, which was disconnecting and deconstructing in front of me, could wander freely through the house, flying over her favorite rooms and participating of situations where she remained physically away, traveling through time lapses, looking for soothing memories and photographs, and watching the little boy Miguel, her first grandson, playing around the house.
