2024 is a very unique year in my family since my mother turns 100 and although portraiture is not my specialty nor what I usually do in the field of photography, that does not mean I am going to miss this opportunity to celebrate this year of her centenary to have images that we will surely always remember. In reality, this adventure was not in my plans to send it to the contest, but the fact that I have a space in my subscription has made me decide to use it. "Almost everything with my mother" paraphrases the title of that famous film with which Almodovar won an Oscar, but in this case, I have carried out this project as a diversion between the two and taking into account his advanced state of immobilization, it has served to carry out a kind of casting with facial expressions, provoke a series of images with which we are laughing for a while when we watch them and even in some cases we have obtained images that have been very well accepted, improvisation has been the tool with which We have made this portfolio in which there has been no time for large staging, taking advantage of any opportunity that was available and mainly using a camera that operates with great agility
