The Skin Around Me

A fashion concept that explores the significant impact of objects on our body. These items become shields, highlighting beauty, concealing or unveiling the layers of youth, health, and experience. Through sculpted foam that embraces the forms around us, we celebrate the complex dance between our physical selves and the material world, hoping to redefine self-perception through fashion and embrace the interconnection of human existence. For this series, I photographed diverse individuals, covering various genders, ages, and skin tones. Each wearable sculpture was designed and created individually by myself for every sitter, adding a unique dimension and special touch to the harmonious union of the human form and the creative expression of wearable art.
