Apt22

Apt22 is a series of self-portraits that explore aspects of an identity constructed by fictitious situations. It is explicit the manipulation of elements, light and color to create a parallel reality in the project, influenced by suspense movies. The images were produced in 12 different apartments I´ve lived since I moved to São Paulo in 2017. The images convey an ambiguity and a destabilization in which the character is on the threshold between presence and absence, vulnerability and dominance. Nothing is clarified: is she a victim or an author?
