Faces of Liberia - Life after War

From 2010 to 2014 I made several trips to the West African country of Liberia to work on several international development projects. During the 1990's to 2003 the country was devastated by one of the most brutal civil wars of the 20th century. The people emerged battered but resilient and ready to rebuild their personal lives and the life of their country. These portraits are of various individuals I met along the way and each reflects a unique person in unique circumstances.
