Innocence

This is a project I have been working on for the past couple of years. These pictures are a witness to the relationship my son and daughter share, as well as the relationship they share with their own selves. I started working on it before I realized that organically it had become a project. Having 2 children of each gender, watching them fascinates me and I try to capture the essence of the child in them while witnessing their voracious appetite for life and the emergence of their sexuality while still maintaining their complete innocence. Children accept themselves as they are, they do not question, they seek, they explore, they enjoy. I wonder when they will change? when will they start taking themselves too seriously which in turn will take the ease of acceptance from them? I will wait and watch.
