Mauritius, Port Louis, christian shelter of Peré Henri Souchon for homeless people.
Homeless people eat and drink here every day. They can also take a shower regularly. The shelter of Peré Souchon also offers a varied entertainment program. Singing, dancing, card games and board games are very popular with visitors. Mauritius is the island of diverse religions. Although shaped by Christian belief, the shelter does not see itself as a missionary station. All faiths are welcome and treated the same. However, the volunteers are presenting the insignia of christianity clearly visible and the visitors are consciously confronted with it, so that they can recognize which spirit is behind these benefits.
