Silabismo Fotocubierto is a conceptual photographic intervention technique created by Nadal Antelmo Vizcaíno in 2003. It involves selecting a word, dividing it into its syllables, and associating each syllable with an individual image captured on a 35 mm color negative, which is then manually altered through writing, scraping, and painting.
Each fragment-syllable constitutes an autonomous visual unit, but when all are brought together they reconstruct a new meaning of the chosen word, creating a poetic intersection of language, image, and emotional experience.
