I produce photographic works that develop out of a sculptural process. The subject of the picture is conceived and constructed by me. Although the spatiality in my images appears extremely heterogeneous and fractured, they are not photomontages in the conventional sense: my works are testimonies to a sculptural process that took place in my studio. Different materials, visual axes and levels of reality actually physically come together in my pictures. In complex relationships between spatial constellations conceived solely for the camera view and photographic (re)constructions, I search for methods to bring together different levels of reality that determine perception. In doing so, I examine the possibilities and effects of reproduction and reconstruction. In my photographic works, two-dimensional images often become models for sculptural constructions, which in turn are photographed so that different levels of reflection and reality are superimposed. My working concept and my various methods of "image acquisition" are based on doubts about the idea of the original and continuous innovation in art as well as the experimental examination of spatial experience and viewing habit
