The Dutch Masters with a hint of hat.

Inspired by the great Dutch master, with a hint of hat. Here's a short poem written by myself, it's written for 'always keep one eye on the joker' but it resonates with the gritty atmosphere of all the images in the collection. “Always keep one eye on the joker” Do you ever look around ? And does it make your heart pound ? To question, “who can one really trust?” Or, “is this world so unjust?” It seems we’ve made our own society, One that provokes severe anxiety. Where each and every one of us, Would throw the other under the bus. Is it too late ? Can it be stopped ? Can the habits of humanity be swapped ? But anyhow, I would advise, That one should think, and look twice. So not to be scolded by a poker, Always keep one eye on the joker !
