Photography is very personal to me. I see it as my emotional response to the world and in particular to other people. I love light and how it affects, shapes, and penetrates subjects. I strive to compose work in a way that satisfies my vision of combining
a subject with my interpretation. This allows me to create an image that is balanced in spirit and form.
I particularly enjoy the challenge of photographing people. As each person is unique and relates to the act of photography in their individual way, every experience is a revelation. The interaction between subject and artist does not conform to any structure or rules. It manifests the release of new emotions that balance spirit and form. Photographic expression is reached when content and purpose come together to form a work of art.
