Sisters in the Corner by lee boo soon
This photo works, based on the theme "BORDER," aims to explore the changed struggles of life between sisters, as they embark on new lives of marriage after being born and raised by the same parents. It delves into the shifts in life patterns such as post-marriage careers and the birth of children, and the boundaries of perception resulting from these changes.
Whether it's the life of a career woman who diligently studied and worked, or that of a mother who has devoted herself to her family, the realities are not much different.
My photos capture the changes in sisters' lives from various perspectives, capturing the changes, losses, and emotions they have dreamed of.
These diverse lives, whether families laugh, cry, care for each other, understand each other, and live happily together, will not wait forever, and even if we are happy now, time passes, slipping away from our grasp. So, even if our youthful dreams come true or we succeed, it becomes the past the next day. As we age, the vague expectation of happiness fades, and our childhood memories and traditions gradually fade away into this harsh world.
