Window to Another World

This particular series is focused on two themes - texture and historical context. When a person ventures into historical spaces they are stepping into a world that many others have stepped into before them. Sometimes, when the light hits a space just right, it takes the breath away. Most importantly, it stops someone in their tracks. They feel obligated to take a moment. To breath. To try to understand what the lives of the people who came before them might have been like. Their struggles. Trials and tribulations of those who came before us. What sort of conversations occurred behind closed doors? What kind of clandestine meetings happened in these doorways and spaces? Only the walls will ever know.
