You have to slow down and then stop. To stop living or rather stop to not live. Look around and admire the unwavering character of beings. Living beings and inert beings. Touch and feel things. Things are there, sublime. They will transform over time and then disappear like us. It is essential to lose sight of the whole and focus on the unique, on the value that a fact can have. A cold piece of metal in the hand, the hair of a horse slipping between the fingers, the blood mingling with the earth teeming with life under the nails, the deep gaze of an innocent pig, the dust covering a pile of plates, the head of a wet dog seeking a caress, the rust that lines the wrinkles of our hands, the real, quite simply. Suffering and living, that’s the truth. Let's forget comfort and suffer like them, there is an emergency. There is only one truth: grace is everywhere, and it is in the beam of light that pierces the darkness that we can easily find it.
As a photographer it is important for me to capture a moment full of value. I am particularly sensitive to animals and objects for which I have deep admiration and respect.
