I feel that my photography has always been a love offering in that it is my unique way of connecting with people beyond conversation or text. Within my body of work I continue to document and archive moments of joy, vulnerability, and community. At a family gathering (where I just happened to be casually taking photos of course) my friend Kenny recently reminded me: "you're the only one watching the magic happen..." Hearing him say that (re)affirms me that I am truly operating in my purpose as a portrait artist and reminds me how just much I love doing this! The work I’ve submitted portrays a few of the awesome people from various walks of life I’ve been blessed to know, fellowship, and call, 'friend.' In a world filled with greed, fleeting moments and ever-changing landscapes, my art stands as a timeless reminder of the beauty that exists within each of us, waiting to be discovered and celebrated.
